BigRedBuster
I am actually pretty excited about this. LINK I don't think at this point in time, concussions and the lasting affects can be studied too much. I am glad to see Nebraska taking a lead in this. Quote Link to comment
Jaybird
This is very cool. We used to be cutting edge in terms of our weight training and nutritional programs on a national stage. Hopefully this is a step in the right direction of returning to a level of a trend setter setting us further apart from the competition!. Quote Link to comment
GSG
Maybe we can use all the research to reprogram the players' brains so they can understand the defensive playbook Quote Link to comment

Count 'Bility
I agree. And, like the safer barriers in Nascar, I just have this feeling the Nebraska is going to discover or invent something that is going to allow this sport to not be tampered with. Something that will be innovative that it will be world-reknown. Quote Link to comment

This goes without saying as it is the main purpose of the development in the first place. Priority one safety. Hopefully a byproduct will be us returning to the cutting edge! Quote Link to comment

C N Red
Listening to something on the radio a few days ago, think mike n mike, they mentioned Simpson(race car safety equipment guy) had found out that helmets being used are too heavy and lighter helmets decrease concussion probability. Heres the article http://www.autoweek.com/article/20130118/indycar/130119839 Pretty interesting stuff. Quote Link to comment
