Thanks_Tom RR
Inspired by 247, this thread is for anyone willing to put their predictions out their before the recruits give verbal commits (or sign LOI). Quote Link to comment
Thanks_Tom RR
I'll get it started. S Luke Gifford [Nebraska Commit] TE Gaelin Elmore [Minnesota Commit] DE Peyton Newell QB Zach Darlington [Nebraska Commit] WR Monte Harrison [Nebraska Commit] ATH Dominique Fenstermacher OG DJ Foster [Nebraska Commit] DE Harrison Phillips [stanford Commit] TE Freedom Akinmoladun [Nebraska Commit] Quote Link to comment
EZ-E
I'll get it started. S Luke Gifford (this is my freebie) TE Gaelin Elmore DE Peyton Newell QB Zach Darlington (Darius Wade made this easier) WR Monte Harrison ATH Dominique Fenstermacher OG DJ Foster (I know many think Alabama) DE Harrison Phillips (if offered) NU is in the driver seat for Foster. It's far from over, but he is not gone to Bama if offered. They will be a strong contender, however I do see him as a Husker. 1 Quote Link to comment
Thanks_Tom RR
WR Jimmie Swain is predicted to be N (via 247). He missed our spring game, and has not rescheduled a visit. Any thoughts? Quote Link to comment

Thanks_Tom RR
This recruiting class definitely needs some talent in the secondary. Any predictions on which cornerbacks or safeties are likely to commit? Quote Link to comment
CMT1525
Would like to get a couple kids outta PA this year. Very loaded Quote Link to comment
Decked
WR Jimmie Swain is predicted to be N (via 247). He missed our spring game, and has not rescheduled a visit. Any thoughts? Swain is a LB.... Quote Link to comment
HuskerFowler
Newell, Darlington, Foster are the only ones I feel comfortable predicting N right now. We have offered a ton of kids, and we have started extremely slow this year. Seems we have casted a wider net but we aren't focusing on too many individually yet, but we are starting with the spring eval period. Hale just said today he had no idea where he stood with us. Not sure how that can happen. I am extremely disappointed in the spring game turn out. BRW needs to be a home run. It really seemed like they focused on player development this spring and not recruiting, which is probably a good thing, but we are playing catch up now. Quote Link to comment

Thanks_Tom RR
From what it sounds like, might be able to put WR Kenric Young and OT Frank Ragnow on this list. Optimistic about our chances with CB Naijiel Hale, but not ready to put him on my Crystal Ball list. Definitely on my wish list, though. Already got S Luke Gifford, and I think we are going to pick up ATH Dominique Fenstermacher (who could be slotted for CB), but we need 4+ commits in the secondary this year. So, Hale would be a great pick up. Quote Link to comment
Thanks_Tom RR
Who will be our RB in this class? top group Tony James (Oregon, Florida, Kentucky, Nebraska, Ohio State) Madre London (Nebraska, Illinois, Boston College) Paul Moses (No top list, but we are his only legitimate offer. Though may be recruited for LB) Austin Rose (only offer is Campbell, but talking to Stanford Wisconsin Nebraska UCLA Missouri) Out top group Auston Anderson (Northwestern commit) Nick Chubb (Georgia, South Carolina) Nathan Starks (Alabama, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, USC) Leonard Fournette (#1 RB, Projected to Alabama or LSU) Jonathan Hilliman (Alabama, Arkansas, Boston College, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio St, Oregon, Rutgers, Stanford, Vanderbilt) Derrell Scott (South Carolina are leaders, also in the mix are Ohio St and Florida St) Corey Avery (Ohio St, LSU, Baylor, Texas Tech, and West Virginia) Royce Freeman (Oregon, UCLA, USC) No top list (yet) Demario Richard (favorites are Arizona St, UCLA, Oregon) Darrel Williams Quote Link to comment
Thanks_Tom RR
To revive this thread, here is a new prediction. With Elmore committed to Minnesota and a strong showing at BRW, I am going to predict Freedom Akinmoladun committing to Big Red. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Just for reference, here a breakdown from Nate Clouse on how many of each position we may take (with current commits): QB: 1 (Darlington) RB: 1-2 (Stewart) WR: 3-4 (Pierson-El, Harrison) TE: 1 (Akinmoladun) OL: 4 (Foster, Farmer) DE: 2 (Stoltenberg) DT: 2 LB: 1 DB: 5 (Mosley, Gifford) K: 1 (Brown) Edited with new commits. girlknowsfootball
I think we will see TV Williams, Peyton Newell, and Harrison Phillips all commit before Labor Day weekend. I also think well see Freedom Akinmoladun commit at some point as well as Monte Harrison. The other spots are a lot of maybe's right now. I imagine a second round of offers will go out as guys have come off our board and committed to other schools already. Quote Link to comment
