GSG
I also haven't cared for the alternating green colors. To me it screams "artificial turf", Isn't is supposed to conjure up images of the differing mowing directions of grass? Yes. Supposedly that's the way it looked when they had real grass in Memorial. Count 'Bility
Saw this on the Twitter last night. Now everyone can STFU about the turf Or we're gonna talk about more on how it should look, how we want it to look, how the new turf will affect Taylor's footwork, how it will affect recruiting with a shiny new field, how it'll take its toll on qb/receiver timing, how it'll................................ 1 Quote Link to comment

Junior
Not a big fan of the alternating greens. The light green seems far too light to me. 1 Quote Link to comment
sd'sker
i wish the green would alternate in such a fashion that individual strips would alternate from a light green to dark green. like blinking lights on a christmas tree. Quote Link to comment
Lyons in the Sea of Red.
We should just be the first school to put in that new fiberoptic turf that is being created. Then we can change the design every game. Quote Link to comment

QMany
Still think every football stadium in America should be natural grass Why do you feel that way? Pros outweigh any cons: Maintenance-free Reduces injury More consistent playing surface, especially in inclement weather 1 Quote Link to comment
Nobody
its about time. lets hope it doesnt take eight years to keep the N looking good with fresh coats of paint. Quote Link to comment
Lyons in the Sea of Red.
You can really tell the difference if you compare the stadium turf to the turf on the practice field. The shades of Red are way more vibrant on the practice field. Quote Link to comment
blessed2bahusker
I think this is what has been holding us back all of these years. That last turf was put in under Peterson and we have been cursed ever since. This new turf will usher in a new era of Husker dominance. Either that or it will just be some new turf. 3 Quote Link to comment

Before I got to your last sentence, I thought to myself "either that or it will just be some new turf". Then I read it. Spooky. 1 Quote Link to comment
