swmohusker
Wow. 280 and playing qb, rb, and lb. Very versatile athlete. He would be a project, but at that size u can't coach his athleticism. Teach him a little technique inside and he could be a beast. His coach must be a pretty cool guy to let a kid like this live.the dream and play out of a two point stance. Heck he even throws.the ball. Quote Link to comment

Thanks_Tom RR
Decommit from Virginia. Nelson wants to take officials to Louisville, Kentucky, Iowa, NC State and Nebraska (none scheduled yet). Louisville is showing him the most love. Quote Link to comment
blessed2bahusker
It is really hard to gauge this kid as a DT when you are seeing him at LB but man is he atheletic. I don't see any reason why he wouldn't be a great DT, but it will certainly take some adjustment. You would think that he would want to get a jump start on learning that technique before he hits college but maybe he is just having fun doing what he's doing. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Committed to Louisville. That didn't take long. Quote Link to comment

Thanks_Tom RR
Little envious of Louisville landing two DT prospects in the past week. We are still in the hunt for Peyton Newell, Claude Pelon, and Josh Frazier, and we will likely see some senior film guys getting offers late, if we don't get some of these guys. Still, it would be nice to get the defensive recruiting rolling early this fall. Quote Link to comment

Not terribly worried. Quote Link to comment

Not terribly worried. Exactly. We have Curry, Valentine, Maurice, and Collins here from the past two cycles. Kevin Williams still has 3 years to play with us. This year we need to grab Newell and find one more solid guy... maybe a late bloomer who we find during the season. Quote Link to comment
ADS
The big win in the Sugar Bowl helps, but Charlie Strong has so many ties down in Florida. I'm sure that had alot to do with it as well. Quote Link to comment

Pulling a pretty good clas right now. Have 25 commits I believe. And they pulled that Poona guy out from underneath SC. He does have some great connections in Florida. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Seems to be wavering on his commitment with Strong's departure. Quote Link to comment
