ADS
Ed Orgeron has applied for the FAU job. we should look into carl being our head coach. maybe he could get his bro as dc and frost as oc. Quote Link to comment
Haspula
Good hire, but they could do A LOT better Quote Link to comment
huKSer
USC has so much talent they can hire a Pop Warner coach and win a national title, well, except for Kiffin Quote Link to comment
Notre Dame Joe
They could've done better. Which is exactly what every Trojan coed says about her bffs. Quote Link to comment

FrankWheeler
And he's off to a great start... http://www.footballscoop.com/news/11798-steve-sarkisian-said-he-was-staying-at-washington-this-morning Quote Link to comment
ADS
@insidetroy As he was leaving Dan Weber asked Pat Haden "How's it going" and he responded "I've had better days." Quote Link to comment
zoogs
Part of me is not surprised that an AD that acts as Pat Haden did with Lane Kiffin's firing ends up making a hire like this and losing his interim before the bowl game in a mess. Quote Link to comment
sd'sker
why not stick with orgeron and give him a 3 year contract with a reasonable salary? see how that plays out. he is as much of, if not less of, a risk than sark. and sark is not going anywhere. so see if he grows as a head coach or if we have seen his ceiling. i do not blame them from going away from orgeron, but i expected a bigger splash hire. if they are going to settle for sark, why not settle with orgeron who had a good half season and you could have hired him at a value given how much he wanted to coach there. even on a one year basis to see how he works out, while looking at other options, including sark. just an odd pick to me. BigRedBuster
Mark me up as very surprised at this. I have never thought Sark has done anything noteworthy at Washington. But then, I have been very surprised before. I remember being shocked that LSU took Les Miles. his record at OSU was 28-21 with a 16-16 conference record. Seems to have done fairly decent at a bigger program with more resources. Quote Link to comment
OldGoldKnights
Would fans on here be happy if we fired Bo and got Sark to replace him? If this is the best USC could do, looking good that Nebraska kept Bo. Quote Link to comment

If this is the best USC could do, looking good that Nebraska kept Bo. This is the same AD that thought Lane Kiffin was a good idea. I wouldn't say that this is the best USC could do, but perhaps another entry in a series of inept moves by their program. Quote Link to comment

Notre Dame Joe
For me Sark will always be known for 7th and goal against an underachieving Weis defense in 2009. But Huskerboard is not allowing me to paste anything so you'll have to Bing it to see Jake Locker used as a FB. Quote Link to comment
