DE Kevin Bronson [Virginia Tech - Signed LOI]

Recommended Posts

Kaz and Pap visited again yesterday. Bronson is a VA Tech lean and visiting them this weekend, but with 4 defensive linemen commits and Derrick Nnadi ahead of Bronson on VA Tech board, Bronson does not have an offer from them. Also, Nebraska is recruiting him at DE (his preferred position), but VA Tech wants him at DT.

Nebraska will have to sell these points and wait for Bronson visit. If he does not get a VA Tech offer, I think we have a good shot.

Edit: just saw VA Tech offered. Not sure if it is committable, but will be interesting to see how that affects Bronson decision and Nebraska recruiting of other prospects.

Sounds like VaTech is in danger of losing one of their current commits.

Sounds like VaTech is waiting to hear from Derrick Nnadi, who is on his OV there this weekend.  Sounds like, even though Nnadi is a DT, if he commits he would fill their class on the DLine.  Nnadi also has offers from Ohio State, Florida State Penn State and is visiting Virginia next weekend so he has some options.

VA Tech wants to bulk up Bronson and slide him inside. That is why he is the back-up plan if Nnadi does not commit. I like Nebraska's plan to keep him at DE. He looks like a solid pass rusher. Plus, DE is the position we need help at and that Bronson prefers.
