HuskerNBigD
I'm going to say they are greatly exaggerating the cold for 5 months...we are not Michigan or Minnesota cold. I've played golf in December and have worn shorts on Thanksgiving many, many times. December, January and Feb can get pretty cold but the rest of the year it's not bad. Summer can get hot and humid but coming from Orleans you might laugh at that comment. Welcome to the Family!!!thank you. He can handle the heat.its the cold weather but he will be fineHeck, with the talent we have on the team and the class coming in - let's hope he'll spend a majority of his Decembers and Januaries down south prepping for big time bowl games! BigRedBuster
Just a comment on the cold. Very very seldom does the team play on a day that it really is that cold. This week is the exception. But, even if they did. If your son has any dreams of playing in the NFL, he is going to play in the cold. If he comes here and proves he has no problem with that, he will be that much more prepared. I am very glad your son has chosen to play for the Huskers. I look forward to watching him play and grow into a fine young man. Quote Link to comment

Yes we get some cold weather, some really cold weather, actually. This snap is not normal especially for this time of the year. Heck, it was darn near 70 during this time last year. That whole 5 months of freezing, 5 months of heat is BS. Dec~ Feb is normally the worst of it, as is about June ~ Aug for the heat. I remember April and May a year or two ago, we had a couple of days in the 90s, then i was picking morels out of the snow a day or two later. I've also wore shorts outside in every month on the calendar. You just never know. But anyhow, congrats Monique and can't wait for your son to get to Lincoln so that he can earn his degree! 1 Quote Link to comment
I AM FOOT FOOT
Not a smooth way of asking this so I'll just ask: Monique, if Bussey decommits will that affect Stanley's commitment? And BTW, we can be a bit testy at times. Ignore those parts and know that your son will be coached by men who will add to what you and your husband have already accomplished. No way!!!! STANLEY is coming and I really feel like Kendall is coming to me and his dad talked alot. He actually helped me out. Don't worry they coming. Go big red and BTW I am a single parent.team single moms #team single dads! Quote Link to comment

ScottyIce
Monique, how's Stanley taking the news? Tell him to give the new staff a chance to keep him if he is nervous. Quote Link to comment
