Mavric
At least two of those undefeated teams are going to lose in the regular season. There will be at least seven losses among those six SEC teams. There will be at least seven losses among those five Big XII teams. There will be at least 12 losses among those six Pac 12 teams. There will be at least nine losses among those six B1G teams. The ACC is terrible save one team. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
I've lost track. Has the Playoff killed the regular season yet? Quote Link to comment
Notre Dame Joe
So glad that Nole got rehabilitated just in time. I've lost track. Has the Playoff killed the regular season yet? How did Oregon's loss affect their future? Quote Link to comment
Mavric
I've lost track. Has the Playoff killed the regular season yet? How did Oregon's loss affect their future? Same as it would have last year. Every loss hurts your chances to win the national title but one loss definitely doesn't throw you out. Quote Link to comment
StPaulHusker
Hey Bert-How's things down in Fayetteville? http://espn.go.com/ncf/notebook/_/page/EliminatorWeek7/eliminator-college-football-week-7-victims-survivors Arkansas: If the much-improved Razorbacks played in the SEC East or another conference, they'd probably have a much better record than 3-3. After losing to Texas A&M 35-28 in overtime two weeks ago, the Hogs held Alabama to only 227 yards of offense (66 rushing) but still lost 14-13 at home on Saturday night. The Hogs have dropped 15 consecutive SEC games, dating to the 2012 season. Quote Link to comment

StPaulHusker
Nick Saban - Lowering expectations So the coach that downplayed a BCS game last year is now having a problem with high expectations? Good to know the Huskers aren't the only team that lacks emotion. Quote Link to comment

Mavric
Pretty shocked by this, you guys. Even as Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher says he believes quarterback Jameis Winston didn't sign autographs for money, a source tells ESPN that the university's athletic compliance department has begun to look into how so many Winston autographs were authenticated by a single company. ESPN has learned that after the team's 38-20 win against Syracuse Saturday, Fisher approached Winston and asked him if he signed autographs for money. Winston told Fisher, according to the source, that he did not. Fisher then told reporters he wasn't concerned that an autograph authentication business, which recently was linked to suspended Georgia running back Todd Gurley, also was linked to Winston. James Spence Authentication certified more than 500 autographs of Gurley, who is being investigated for allegedly taking money for signings. A cursory search on JSA's website found more than 340 certified Winston autographs. Link Quote Link to comment

Mavric
A search of a University of Alabama football player's dorm room in Bryant Hall last week yielded more than 100 grams of marijuana and almost $5,000 in cash, court records filed Monday show. According to a fruits of crime forfeiture complaint filed Monday, agents of the West Alabama Narcotics Task Force were tipped off by a confidential information of a pending drug transaction involving the Crimson Tide's sophomore tight end Kurt Freitag. Agents monitoring Freitag saw the deal go down last Tuesday, according to the complaint, although his role in the transaction is not specified. They confronted Freitag and read him his Miranda rights, according to the complaint, and he gave agents permission to search his Bryant Hall dorm room, where they found 112 grams of marijuana and $4,661 in cash. The agents seized the drugs and the money, but if Freitag was charged with any crime, it is not reflected in court records. Link Quote Link to comment

GSG
ESPN has about 5-10 articles/videos about Jameis Winston and his autographs, personality, etc. I had to dig through their SEC blog to find a one line link about the Bama player and his weed business.
