It's a good start but that's about it. We are 223rd in points per game. We need these two to keep it up and we need a couple others to step up their game. Thank God they can play defense. Minnesota_husker Posted January 14, 2015 Share Posted January 14, 2015 We're still being projected to be in the bottom 4 teams of the conference....we need a lot of things to pick up. I dont see it. I think we are better than Penn State, Northwestern, Illinois, Rutgers, Minnesota, and Michigan. Indiana got us but i think we are right there with them. I see us as somewhere in the middle 6-8. That is at least when we play how we have played last two games. If we play how we did earlier(I know injury was part of this) then ya, we are near the bottom. Next 5 games will answer a ton of questions: @ Wisc, MN, @ MICH st, @ Mich, @ MN. If we can go 3-2 in that run, i will be pleased. Things get much easier after that. Quote Link to comment

Pretty hard to leave early if you're not a first-round projection. Only first-rounders get guaranteed contracts. Quote Link to comment
