Eric the Red
I say no........lots of yards left on the field against teams we should beat. I think it will be very hard to win it, but I"m fairly confident he makes it to NYC in December. This week saw a lot of potential Heisman frontrunners get knocked down. Even though Winston won with FSU we know his problems and he will not get the votes. People have doubted AA before, they will doubt him now and he will rise to the occasion. I feel he is our best leader since Grant Wistrom. Quote Link to comment
Nobody
he will be in new york, but his run is over. thank the o-line. Quote Link to comment
louisianared
Depends, if he started putting up some good numbers the rest of the way and leads us to a BIG title, he'll be back in the mix again. Quote Link to comment

HuskerinSunDiego
If he hadn't put up 59 yards against McNeese State, maybe not. But two statistically stinker games really hurt his chances. Quote Link to comment

T_O_Bull
he will be in new york, but his run is over. thank the o-line. Don't forget to thank Beck for his truly uninspired play calling, a strength and conditioning coach who needs to be fired and an o-line coach who can't coach. T_O_B Quote Link to comment
suh_fan93
His Heisman run is over but that's the least of Nebraska's problems. He has a long career ahead of him though that I'm stoked about. Quote Link to comment
Hayseed
Since it has become primarily an award for the best player on one of the best teams, you'd think his chances just became slim. Quote Link to comment
broganreynik
I think if he finishes the regular season with breakneck pace he had in September, and we avenge our loss to Sparty with a big AA game, it's still possible. Quote Link to comment
RedRedJarvisRedwine
I think his fumble inside the 5 will haunt him and hes gonna go apesh!t the rest of the year. I was so disappointed that Beck didn't make an effort to use him in the passing game more. Its hard to show your versatility when your oc wont give you a chance. All the records are in front of him. He needs the CCG now. Quote Link to comment
The Nebraskan Assassin
I think he'll be extremely lucky if he gets invited to NY. Gurley will obviously be there, and there are a few other high-profile names (Winston, Mariota, etc.) who will get some props. Not to mention guys like Dak Prescott and players from other teams who are unexpectedly doing really well. 1 Quote Link to comment
Husker66
a lot if not all heisman hopefuls had bad day yestarday, not just AA. and his line really hurt him...as stated above, the heisman generally goes to the best offensive player on a team with a high finish...particilarly a team that makes it to the natl championship....so id say yeah he's done unless we play into the b1G championship and then find a way into the final 4 somehow. we will need a lot of help on the latter...whole lotta teams gotta lose . ugly... Jeremy
Hopefully. Less focus on that, and more on getting to and winning the conference title game. Quote Link to comment

Beck tried to use him in the passing game, but TA was playing scared and didn't want to turn the ball over so he couldn't hit the broadside of a barn for the first 50 minutes of the game. Yes the OL was pathetic, but he was rushing throws that didn't need to be rushed and played an overall terrible game. As an OC you can only do so much with an pathetic OL and a scared QB.
