killer cacti
I think I'd go for Nebraska right now, as an outsider. The simple fact that Rich Rod succeeded everywhere but Michigan is a bit fishy to me. Quote Link to comment
WoodyHayes1951
4:30 press conference on BTN I think you guys are going after Addazio once Harbaugh turns you down Quote Link to comment
ADS
Michigan can take Schiano. They tried to get him 6 years ago, please try again. Quote Link to comment
NUance
Michigan has better recruiting. Nebraska sends more to the NFL. Michigan has a bigger stadium. Nebraska sells its stadium out. Michigan routinely gets curb stomped by Little brother Sparty (lately). Nebraska is an only child. Nebraska had the best team in 1997. Michigan didn't. (LULZ). Nebraska has better pheasant hunting. Michigan has better Morel mushroom hunting. Michigan has a bigger endowment. Nebraskans are more well endowed. Advantage: Nebraska! 3 Quote Link to comment
kchusker_chris
michigan for many reasons, including the east being a tougher division so a better road to the NC. nebraska is going to need to go undefeated in the west to reach top 4, OSU/Michigan in a good year for the B1G will be able to afford a loss. Whistlebritches
I think Michigan is the better job but were in the same ballpark. Nothing a little extra money couldn't overcome. Florida is the best of the three and I don't think it's close. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
They're both very good jobs. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
Nebraska. The Big Ten's warm weather school. Quote Link to comment
Kernal
Michigan hands down. Not a doubt in my mind it is more appealing. 1) Nebraska just fired a coach that many coaches feel shouldnt have been. Source? Quote Link to comment

I'd like to see a list of those losers so we know who to cross off the "potential coaches" list. Quote Link to comment

Kernal
Either one could be better. That's the great thing about college football and great coaching. With Tom Osborne at Nebraska, Nebraska is the better job. With Pelini at Nebraska and Hoke at Michigan, they're about equally mediocre. Look at Nick Saban at Alabama. What a craphole place that would be without great coaching! Whoever ends up with the better coach will be retroactively determined to be the "better" situation. A great coach can win anywhere. HuskerCarter
Fred Flintstone was able to get top 5 classes to ann arbor. They have the largest alumni base more boosters Better recruiting ability More resources Agreed, Its easier to sell the Michigan and Florida venure than Nebraska. Not saying that Nebraska venure is bad, but I think Michigan and Florida have the edge on us by a little bit. Someone once said, its not all about finding the right coach for Nebraska, but finding the right coach that WANTS to be here at Nebraska. Quote Link to comment
