Comish
I read this article as well. There has to be something that is causing "zero" offers. It says some smaller schools have passed on him as well. Maybe it's the uncommon matrix of an equal number of vowels and consonants in his name........... 1 Quote Link to comment

illnino
He will be the one who go Juco and tranfers and has a better career then half of the top 10 4/5* qbs. I think you might be on to something.....signed at Butler Community College in El Dorado, Kansas, per KRQE, ALBUQUERQUE. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
So pretty much tells you grades are the issue. He can't get an official offer until he looks like a qualifier. That plus JUCO = grades. Quote Link to comment

Hedley Lamarr
Everything I could find on the kid said he easily had the grades Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Eh, according to who? Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
Yeah, his grades weren't an issue at all according to previous reports. I guess it's possible that that part of the story was fabricated. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
But where are the reports about what his grades are coming from? Quote Link to comment
Mavric
But where are the reports about what his grades are coming from? Newspapers/online news sources? Does it matter? Yes because you're still not getting it. Where are the newspapers/online news sources getting this informtion aht they're reporting? Quote Link to comment
Hedley Lamarr
They probably got the info from the exact same place they get their info from for every single recruit they write an article on Quote Link to comment

It doesn't necessarily have to do with grades why he is going the JUCO route. Lots of kids with good grades head to JUCO schools to play sports if they don't get offers out of high school. It is really common in baseball. Quote Link to comment
