The Dude
More like 115 million. 99,000 × 1,166 = 115,434,000. That means if 1 in 24 Ohioans went to the spring game, the attendance would be about 4.8 million. Now that would be an impressive turnout. Time for stadium expansion, methinks. 1 Quote Link to comment
huKSer
Based soley on local population: 1 out of every 1,166 Ohioans attended the OSU spring game. 1 out of every 24 Nebraskans attended the Husker spring game. 1,166 * 90,000 = 104,940,000 Population of the state of Ohio = 11,590,000 For a difference of 93,350,000 .... Maybe he meant Ohio, China Maybe he meant 1 out of every 11.66Probably closer to 116.6. Math is hard To be fair, I posted that before noon, and everybody knows that math does not exist before noon. knapplc
Clearly fan interest isn't the problem in the Big Ten. Although I'll still give the nod to the SEC for tailgating. The barbecue scene down south is way better. We're too urbane and hip up north. Gotta up our game. Quote Link to comment
