HuskerExpat
Yes we lost key weapons. Also replacing with some good ones. Losing Duke hurt us, but we will replace him with Joseph Yearby who was the #3 rated RB coming out of high school last year. Miami will have alot of weapons on offense. Our line is my concern. Losing 4 starters will hurt us. I been watching his interviews. He just has that "it" factor. I feel like we FINNALY have a qb that could bring us back to prominice. As for AL Golden, the guy is a bum. Every Miami fan wants Butch Davis back. Think Christian Hackenberg at Penn St last year... Quote Link to comment
corncraze
Put all you guys on notice. He is the best QB noone is talking about. This kid will come down as the best quarterback in Canes history.. Who is noone? Quote Link to comment

Thanks for the "notice." Will watch the game a few inches closer to the TV to see for myself how much Kaaya has improved. Quote Link to comment

kozzman555
He is probably the best pure passing QB we've faced in a long time. Dude is legit, we know that. It'll just make the sting of our victory in your home stadium just that much more sweet. /not a fan of Hackenberg//#$%@ miami 1 Quote Link to comment

Lyons in the Sea of Red.
He Did VERY good against Nebraska last year, yes he had freshman mistakes, but he kept his poise in front of 90,000 screaming Husker fans.. Kaaya has talent all around him this year.. He will have to do it again in front of probably 20,000 screaming Husker fans this year. Hopefully the 25 Miami fans in their corporate suites can drown them out 1 Quote Link to comment
suh_fan93
Nebraska will be facing some fairly good QB's this year. Taysom Hill right off the bat in the BYU opener. He was putting up some really good numbers last year until he broke his leg. Wes Lunt when we play Illinois although he doesn't have much of a supporting cast. Kayaa and then of course Connor Cook. Strange fact. Some former NFL QB's kin are on a few of our opponents rosters this year and both are...you guessed it... quarterbacks. Jeff George's son Jeff George Jr. is a freshman QB for Illinois. Also Koy Detmer Jr. is a freshman QB for BYU this year. (He's Koy Detmer's son and former Heisman winner Ty Detmer's nephew.) Quote Link to comment

There is a lot of things to do in Miami Ya know.. Plenty of fanbases still show up to games when their team is struggling. A .500 season doesn't mean you should have 12 people at your game. 2 Quote Link to comment
The Dude
I like how the lineman acts like he's not going to let his quarterback get hit, then at the last second he's like "ah f#*k it". 1 Quote Link to comment

Yeah a crappy dance club and sand volleyball is totes more important than supporting the ol ball team. #MiamiPriorities There might be a lot of Cane fans out there, but how many are really that dedicated? 1 Quote Link to comment
