huskerfan92
Turns out Drew Brown tied the NCAA record for fg's in a half 1 Quote Link to comment
hskrfan4life
Record for most field goals in a game is 7, so need two more to tie, three to break it. Quote Link to comment
admo
Halftime 22-0 Huskers Defense has a shutout - I did not expect that at all. Offense has 325+ yards already - on pace for 650. Kicking game has 5 FGs on 5 attempts. Might not be that most effective running inside with Newby, and it would be better to score TDs instead of FGs, but overall this was still a good half. 1 Quote Link to comment
MichiganDad3
Lets see some backups. Let the young guys learn on the job. I want experienced players next year. Quote Link to comment
74Hunter
So, where's the guy saying brown had no right to be on that team? Let's hope we make some adjustments for 3rd down conversions. Lots of struggles still. And penalties. Seems to be our players favorite P word to get. Which is sad. Lol, like! Quote Link to comment
cornographic
Anyone still think Drew B should be benched? Having a great day. No. And I'm not sure we have anybody else who can kick FGs. Quote Link to comment
hskrfan4life
True fans should be quick to praise and slow to condemn the players. Goes for Brown, Davey, Newby, and Lewis. These are young men giving it their all. Lewis still has a penalty. I'm going to look see how many he has had. I feel like its too many. But let's score some more touchdowns! Quote Link to comment
MichiganDad3
Is a kicker similar to a pitcher ... do we have to worry about kick count ... will Brown wear out his leg today Quote Link to comment
74Hunter
Turns out Drew Brown tied the NCAA record for fg's in a half Dubious record. I think Dale Klein still holds or is tied for most FGs in a game, was against Misery. Quote Link to comment
cornographic
So, I noticed all those underneath passes were on lb's. They are young and we are thin. We need lb's to get up to speed quickly. Again, has anyone seen davie??? Haven't seen Davie. Quote Link to comment
Sargon
FGs in a game record would be a great thing for NU today. Confidence boost for the young kicker. Lesson to the offense about what failures look like on 3rd downs vs. a weak opponent. Sucks but learning does need to include by failure. Doing it and getting an easy win is better than doing it getting a loss Quote Link to comment
xlbder
Janovich's Mom is pissed, Brown trying to steal his game ball. Quote Link to comment

cornographic
BYU has had a pretty tough sched so far: NE, Boise, UCLA and MI. Quote Link to comment
