PaulCrewe
This has been evident all year, unfortunately some haven't been able to grasp this. Prior to today, the conference had two guys at QB that many were drooling over as NFL prospects. Cook and Hackenberg. Those two were second and third in passing attempts behind Armstrong. This should never have been the case this year. Yes the line is garbage, been saying so much since byu. But this staffs stubbornness of doing what was said they would do about tailoring the offense to the strengths of the roster have put both the line and RBs in this position of craptitude. Endlessly, this led Tommy leading a stat, before today, that he should NEVER. Quote Link to comment
huskerfan92
With a QB who has thrown 18 career passes.... Quote Link to comment
Saunders
Our offensive gameplan deserves some criticism, but I think the honest, unfortunate truth is that our offense is better when we ditch the run. When the coaches don't commit to running the ball in practice... Quote Link to comment
neepster
The difference between a good OC and a bad OC is that the good OC adjusts for the opposing team. If they have a bad run defense you run on them. You'll notice that EVERY team now throws on us like maniacs no matter what they do normally, because they know we have an absolutely horrible pass defense. Quote Link to comment
Bowfin
Had to abandon that because they were down 2 scores for half of the game. How are 8 yard passes quicker than 8 yard runs? Quote Link to comment
lo country
56 called passes. With a back up QB. 22 called runs Against the worst Rush defense in the conference. If that's not abandoning the run, I don't know what is. (There was 7 scrambles that were called passes, so I adjusted the numbers) A Qb, who hasn't practiced as much with the ones.... Not only did we not run, against the worst D in the conference, Langs abandoned his "go to" back in Newby for Cross. Again, no Jano. IMO, the best back on the team. Dude has no clue. None. Bye Felicia.. you might not have heard but newby was in street clothes for the 2nd half. they didnt say when he went out or that he was out before that. but hey, damn that langs for injuring his starting rb. Didn't see he was injured. Getting pumpkin carved for part of game. Thanks for the info. Quote Link to comment
neepster
With a QB who has thrown 18 career passes.... Well he got 407 yards through the air with 4Tds... Of course the 4 INTs more than made up for that... Quote Link to comment
huskerfan92
Early on, they had way more rushes than passes. Had to abandon that because they were down 2 scores for half of the game. So we keep slinging it with a walk on QB that's turning the ball over? Not buying it Quote Link to comment
HuskerPowerVA
MR is a nice guy. He is a great coach who just happens to have been on losing teams. Quote Link to comment

Are you serious, do you understand football! Quote Link to comment

I don't like it, but the only game that our rushing attack has actually helped us at all has been Minnesota. Fully agree with all of this. Quote Link to comment
Haspula
These coaches don't know what a run game is. Their run game has always been set up by a passing game. Quote Link to comment
walksalone
I think I see our run game... Quote Link to comment
