zoogs
Honestly, if you're going to quit a team midseason, see ya. Good luck, but it was probably for the best. I didn't even realize he was a senior. All the work he put into his last year, he doesn't want his last few games and his Senior Day? Okay...hey. It's a free country. 1 Quote Link to comment
StPaulHusker
He was 3 (maybe 4) games away from his football career being done anyway. Whatever.... Quote Link to comment
Elf
ColoradoHusk - Thanks a lot coach Cav - is this sarcasm...... Matt was vocal about Bo leaving. Maybe the cancer is starting to be removed!!!! I think Cavanaugh is a terrible coach and doesn't know how to manage more than 6-7 o-linemen. That's I made my post. If you check his bio Cavanaugh is a very good oline coach. Quote Link to comment
BaytownHusker
Do all teams have kids quit with 2-3 games left in the season? Seniors at that? Quote Link to comment

Opinions of Cavanaughs coaching abilities aside. There is a reason Finnin was a 3rd stringer at best and it has more to do with his own abilities as opposed to the coaches. 1 Quote Link to comment
Waterloohusker26
Who cares! Got about 7-8 that can go ahead and leave with him 1 Quote Link to comment
ColoradoHusk
Maybe I was mixing up Finnin with younger guys, so yes, this probably isn't a big deal. However, I still think Cavanaugh is not a good o-line coach. I don't agree with his philosophy of only playing his first string o-linemen and there have been multiple threads on it. Honestly, I think he has trouble managing a roster of 15+ o-linemen. It will be interesting if they pare down the o-line recruiting so that they only have 10 linemen on the roster. The coaches are only playing 5 linemen a game, unless there is an injury, so why have more than 10 scholarship linemen on the roster. Quote Link to comment
Bowfin
Oh no! A 3 string Senior OT quit. Whatever shall we do? Exactly! Nebraska is so overflowing with talent on the offensive line that one guy quitting isn't going to derail this season for this staff... ...(sarcasm begets sarcasm, my apologies to the rest of you) Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
This isn't good... We have no clue if it's good or bad. Quote Link to comment
