Kernal
Article in the DFP about how Nick Gates hitting Joel Heath late, and no-calls on holding, threw Calhoun off his game. Includes an instagram photo of Calhoun being held in a headlock. lol Detrioit Free Press: Shilique Calhoun: "Dirty play" threw me off at Nebraska Quote Link to comment
Tomhusker64
Poor baby. I don't want to hear it. After last year I don't care one little bit. Quote Link to comment
brophog
Both teams could send a binder of complaints to the office. Quote Link to comment
Kernal
Poor baby. I don't want to hear it. After last year I don't care one little bit. Yeah, I thought this was odd. Holding goes uncalled many times throughout a game, as does pass interference. I don't recall what hit he is talking about though with Nick Gates. 1 Quote Link to comment
lo country
Call me a wambulance. Piss poor calling has plagued NU this whole year. The B1G refs are some of the worst I have seen this year. They lost, we won. Questionable calls all game. Great player, but diminishes when he complains. Just my .02 1 Quote Link to comment
Bigred_inSD
All Calhoun did here was show teams like OSU how to get in his head. Quote Link to comment

khaake
On the positive side: "Calhoun, who remains a half-sack behind Julian Peterson for No. 2 on the MSU career list, with 24 1/2, after his least impactful game of the season, vowed that he'll respond. He said Nebraska "has a great offensive line" but that MSU's defensive line must "get back there and create havoc." Quote Link to comment
huskerfan92
If this is indeed the play, then just wow.....I know it's a bit late but to have something like that bother you the whole game? Maybe his quote was taken out of context Quote Link to comment
ADS
It's football. There's dirty hits and holds on every play. As a defensive lineman you have to be able to put up with that and battle through. No need for excuses. 1 Quote Link to comment
khaake
Here's a link to the alleged headlock... http://www.instagram.com/p/90NXDRk_V3/?taken-by=da_general_89 Quote Link to comment
zoogs
It was late, but I'm sure it was not intentional. Dirty is a heavy charge. That was barely late, anyway. Seemed to happen as the whistle started blowing. Now it makes more sense why the play-by-play guy was saying that Shilique is known to disappear from games. I thought that was crazy at the time, given the talent he is. If you're happy and you know it, clap your ... oh, wait. 2 Quote Link to comment
Decked
If this is indeed the play, then just wow.....I know it's a bit late but to have something like that bother you the whole game? Maybe his quote was taken out of context Love that play even if it is dirty. Put that boy in the dirt and show some nastiness and get in the heads of opposing players. 1 Quote Link to comment
alwayshusking
I don't know about dirty but Gates plays with some nastiness. I like it. Banker was complaining about the lack of holding calls on MSU so the refs were letting things go in the trenches. 1 Quote Link to comment
