ADS
Seems like a fair assessment. Quote Link to comment
dvdcrr
Nebraska will lose at least one game "upon further review" as the officials invoke the new booth-initiated targeting penalty and toss one of our best players. So sayeth the Crystal Ball, or maybe that was a crystal light? Quote Link to comment

admo
Sept. 3 Fresno State - Home Opener, Feel good about itSept. 10 Wyoming - Home game - EARLY 11AM! - Coach Bohl back in Lincoln. A little uneasy about this one. But the Big Red will get it done.Sept. 17 Oregon - Home game is a plus - Need to see it to believe it (a win happening) - Not highly impossible, but need their A-gameSept. 24 at Northwestern - Rematch that favors the Huskers following the close loss last yearOct. 1 Illinois - Rematch of a last minute gut punch - A little payback at homeOct. 8 OPEN DATE - restOct. 15 at Indiana - 2 weeks to get healthy and prepare for an intriguing teamOct. 22 Purdue - not a rematch, but a revenge game for the Huskers. QB play for the Big Red has suffered in these games for some odd reason. Not this year.Oct. 29 at Wisconsin - So close last year. Time to turn the corner and kick a winning FG? If not, Huskers still come out hitting strong. Last time in Madison was 408. Nov. 5 at Ohio State - Back to back road challenges. Not as high powered as teams before. But still, even with momentum it will be tough sledding.Nov. 12 Minnesota - not automatic as you would think, they have won in Lincoln before. Should expect a close physical game.Nov. 19 Maryland - can't look past the Terps towards Iowa. Ok, you can, but let's not let this one be closer than it should. Nov. 25 at Iowa - Could be Tommy's most complete game (it will be circled for him). Tough rematch at their house on that rough, slow field. Plus crappy weather. I don't see a lot of surprises that could derail the Huskers. It's an 8-10 win team but I'm thinking 9 or more. 1 Quote Link to comment

Which would be a big blow since it is the B10 opener. The good thing about our schedule, outside of the Oregon game, is that the Home games should be all wins -- I think this happens. I see us winning @ Wisconsin after a few years of embarrassment. Black Friday has a very good chance of being for the West title. 2 Quote Link to comment
Enhance
Well, this prediction certainly is in keeping with the most recent Husker 8-9 win season trends. The only difference I foresee is the Huskers beating one of those teams they have marked as a 'loss' and flip-flopping it with a loss to a team they probably shouldn't lose to. Quote Link to comment

dvdcrr
Nebraska: an Illinois team with an Alabama fan base. Staff has one year to prove otherwise. Quote Link to comment
