It'sNotAFakeID Posted July 27, 2016 Share Posted July 27, 2016 I tweeted earlier that while the BTN has been a resounding success and the numbers are incredibly impressive - 10 years running, 60 million homes - you'd really hope to see more innovation and new/progressive ideas, and less "our version of what ESPN has been doing for a long time" products. Although I agree that it looks like BTN and Fox Sports are mimicking ESPN by doing a pregame show a la College Gameday, I'm not really sure how they could do things differently. A pregame show is a pregame show is a pregame show much like an interview is an interview is an interview. A show dedicated to B1G football, with some of the same content you'd see on ESPN, is different and good enough for me. I know the SEC has their own special version of College Gameday in the fall.
