Never Trumpers have shrunk as his successes have proven themselves the past 2 years...hence the reason Trump is getting 90%-plus support from GOP voters. He is the first GOP leader since Reagan to fight for Conservatives and not give in. Either of the Bushes would have pulled the Kavanaugh nomination over the bogus allegations...but Trump saw the hoax for what it was and stood his ground. I dont approve of some of his tweets and personal attacks but I appreciate standing up against the Hollywood and media elites.

As for immigration the family separation started under Obama yet it was not an issue when he did the same thing. Not saying it makes it right but this is just one of many examples of a double standard by the media and the Left. As for abolishing ICE and open borders and supporting sanctuary cities and states, this is a growing movement on the Left. Pretending its not is nonsense.

under obama the family seperation was for children of people who were actually criminals...not everyone who asked for asylum.    there is a reason trump had to find more space for all the kids.   the expanded definition of what kids would be seperated.    trump was seperating them all.    not just the drug runners kids.

Families coming here illegally should not be allowed, period. This notion of seeking asylum is absurd.  Moreover, the point being made earlier was the outrage over ANY families being separated.  When pictures and videos were finally shown of Obama doing the same thing, the national attention to this issue dwindled as it was apparent the outrage could also be projected onto their beloved 44.  Do you support the current laws allowing those crossing illegal to seek asylum and find a way to stay in the US?  Should we be deterring those seeking to come here illegally?  If so, how would you recommend doing that?

I know...it's just a pattern on here of those claiming to be Conservatives or Independents yet spend 90% of the time either bashing Trump or supporting Democratic positions and policies.  I am accustomed to it.

yep...anyone who criticizes grump is a socialist dog according to those who pray at the orange alter.

A nice reminder that the last 2 Dem Presidents once called for a stronger stance on immigration including strong border security.

Immigration policy is something all presidents need to address. But an absurd wall, and sending troops at more than 1:1 ratio to push back starving families is not about policy; it is grandstanding.

Didn't know you had to support Trump to be conservative or independent. That seems like a weird political philosiphy. Have conservatives always supported the Trump family? Is it a historically conservative position?

I am a Dem supporting Trump so you may be right.  I just never support Democratic positions in here. :)

because huge deficits and tariffs are conservative strong points?   because sending troops to the border for political profit is a conservative ideal?   because backstabbing our allies is a conservative agenda?  because kissing putins a$$ is the highest conservative goal?   no thank you.
