You don't understand sports

IF we are unable to beat Rutgers, as in it's impossible, then it's most definitely impossible to beat anyone else on our schedule.

That being said, we CAN beat anyone on our schedule. Obviously, it would take a helluva lot better performance from the staff and players for that to happen, though.

I don't see them firing Coach Riley before the year is out, no matter the results.  We are known for firing 9-3 coaches, kicking one to the curb in season is not a good look to add to that.  If the decision has been made to fire Coach Riley, they can look and talk to people.  Firing him in season does not give us a head start on anyone.

I think he has been told what it will take to keep his job.  They spoke to him directly.  Some communication was voiced as to his future.  I think if he was going to be fired in season, it would have happened when the AD was axed.

Well if it isn't a splash hire that everyone is looking for then what's the point because if you lose the top recruits we have they need to be replaced with other top recruits or you are looking at another year at least we won't be very good

Wrong. This team is vastly underperforming. Any good coach will get more out of them. Bo took the calihan crew from 5 to 9 wins in one season. Why is there so much fear of failure? We are failing now. Who cares if it gets worse? You keep trying to get better.
