I AM FOOT FOOT
Who on this staff get the interim tag? Diaco would be bad and Lang's would be worse imo. Quote Link to comment
speedtoburn
Well, before the season I would said no...he finishes out the season no matter what; however, the Eichorst firing now leaves me not so sure anymore. Quote Link to comment
Michiganball
There is a good possibility. Cant see a loss to Rutgers not being he's last game, thats pretty much "anything/anyone else would be better" territory. Quote Link to comment

Obviously, it would take a helluva lot better performance from the staff and players for that to happen, though. Quote Link to comment

The Dude
I think we'll get another press conference this week with a loss today. Â The pressure on chancellor Green will be immense. Â A win today and a loss against Illinois would still be really bad, but maybe not pull the trigger bad. Quote Link to comment
skersfan
I don't see them firing Coach Riley before the year is out, no matter the results. We are known for firing 9-3 coaches, kicking one to the curb in season is not a good look to add to that. If the decision has been made to fire Coach Riley, they can look and talk to people. Firing him in season does not give us a head start on anyone.  I think he has been told what it will take to keep his job. They spoke to him directly. Some communication was voiced as to his future. I think if he was going to be fired in season, it would have happened when the AD was axed.   1 Quote Link to comment

This team is vastly underperforming. Any good coach will get more out of them. Bo took the calihan crew from 5 to 9 wins in one season. Why is there so much fear of failure? We are failing now. Who cares if it gets worse? You keep trying to get better. 1 Quote Link to comment
