I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Mike Riley and staff really regret the NIU loss already, regretted it immediately after the game, and even regretted it as it was unfolding. There are a couple other coaches sitting at 3-2 or worse with embarrassing losses and angry fanbases, including Jimbo Fisher, Butch Jones, Ed Orgeron and Dan Mullen. Interestingly enough, some Husker fans coveted those coaches. Quote Link to comment
