I agree with this, mostly. Would you say the mob is wrong about wanting Riley gone and Frost to come back to Lincoln?

No, I just want people to be aware of the pressure they put on the ones making decisions and to understand that the mob isn’t always right.

If Frost turns us down, there’s no telling where the mob will go next.

I think the mob is right about this, though. Riley ain't the guy.

Nebraska is a football school, playing volleyball.  No slight to the Volleyball team who is always a national contender.  In other words, our football team needs to be the cash cow.  Football is what makes money.  Were still making money even with what we have become.  Imagine what we would have if we contended and were relevant once again.  I attended games in Lincoln in the 90's regularly.  The city was awesome.  The fans were crazy and fun.  Students were fun and crazy.  It was one of the most awesome times of my life in general.  I have been to maybe a dozen games since 2003 and its not the same and not even fun on most game days.  Its like we are always waiting for the next shoe to drop and for the next embarrassing loss to happen.  Wouldnt' the current students of Nebraska like to see College GameDay here once again?  Thats awesome.  Thats what this program should be about.  I want my kids to experience that at least once.  So NO, its not acceptable to continue this losing and playing these nobodies close weekly.  Its not ok to barely beat every team on our schedule.  Its not ok to lose to a MAC team and nearly get beat by a Sunbelt team.  Its not ok to be happy about beating Purdue by a last second half court shot.  The ones who are to young to have ever experienced those games on those Saturdays, will never know that feeling until it happens here.  Imagine instead of our booster spending money to fire coaches, if they could just lend money to making a bigger better practice facility or upgrade our stadium even more than whats its already been.  No instead our money people are spending on bad hire after bad hire.  So Yeah, the fan base has a say so.  The fan base has a loud voice about whats been going on here.  The fan base deserves something to be proud of other than winning a sh!t show game in West Layette Indiana!

This is an aside from the game.  I wonder if anyone else caught this on Saturday night.

During halftime the Purdue band had a performance that included fireworks.  One of the fireworks exploded on or above the Husker sideline.  Only the specialists were out there.  It looked like Drew Brown or someone else ended up stomping out something on fire.  Couldn't really see it from where I was.  Assuming nobody got hurt it was kind of humorous.  Anyone else see this?
