I think after last night, Joe doesn’t have to worry about Gavin in 2024.  I really don’t know why GN would have subjected himself to that humiliating debate.   Maybe he just didn’t prepare, or maybe he just thinks he’s not a bad Governor?   He may have even lost the 2028 nod after last night

I listened to the debate and didn't watch it.  Listening alone, I could tell that Newsom had DeSantis on his heals all night long.  Newsom came across more in control of facts, his  emotions and sounded more confident.  DeSantis sounded like a little child deflecting and accusing.

Your tweet says Newsom accuses Desantis of shutting down schools.  Which, the way it's worded makes it sound like it's a false accusation.  In fact, he did shut down schools just like every other state.

Yes, it was pretty much a 2 vs 1 with the two ending up with the black eyes.  I'm not a Newsom fan but he won the debate and came across as the logical and more well reasoned person on stage.
