Basically, no one in the area will know there is a football game for that day. The local bars don't open up early, so your best bet is to run into a tailgate party. I travel in from Denver, while most of the guys travel from Omaha for the road trips. At Michigan this year, the discussion turned to them coming out for the CU game in Boulder. teachercd Posted October 13, 2018 Share Posted October 13, 2018 Evanston is going to be lame, it is a nice sleepy rich area. Nothing will be open before the game and no one will know/care that a game is going on. The only reason it is a big Husker trip is the proximity and Chicago.
