knapplc
Nebraska has gone 94-62 in the past 13 seasons, with some ugly, ugly losses and several missed bowl games. That span encompasses the last year of the Callahan Era, the Pelini Era, the Riley Era, and the first two years of the Frost Era. But there have been some gems in those years. It seems like every year there's a good enough game to be, if not proud of, at least happy about. Or excited about. So here's your task: Take a game from each week and piece together an entertaining, fun, or at least really interesting season. But here's the catch - if you use the third game from 2009, you can't use the third game from 2014. Don't go by weeks, just look at the schedule. Doesn't matter if there was a bye week, the fifth game on the schedule each year is the fifth game for your patched-together season. Keep it clean. No rabbit punches, no low blows, and no Texas fans allowed. 4 Quote Link to comment

Thank you thank you I'll be here all week 1 minute ago, Undone said: Great list, and these two are pretty much unarguably the best two choices for games 5 & 6! Whats crazy is I was actually building around the 2010 KSU game at week 5 then I realized the 2012 season wasn't fitting in well for me so I had to make some adjustments and only after I pulled up the 2012 season to see if it would work for week 5 did I realize it had to go there. I was at that game! Usually only make 1 a year and that was an incredible one to make. Stadium went crazy when we forced a Ball fumble to seal the game. This was alot of fun. 1 Quote Link to comment

If we are going off pure drama, that 2014 McNeese game has to be up there towards the top. The walk off TD by Abdullah has to be one of the most clutch plays in Husker history 1 Quote Link to comment

Nebfanatic
Week 8 has a great win from 2013 with the Kellogg III-Westercatch hail Mary against NW! Some other ones that I would have loved to have added were week 8 2010 againt Mizzou(Helu 310 yards) and 2009 week 5 against Mizzou as well. I guess I always liked beating Mizzou 2 Quote Link to comment
deedsker
Just now, Nebfanatic said: If we are going off pure drama, that 2014 McNeese game has to be up there towards the top. The walk off TD by Abdullah has to be one of the most clutch plays in Husker history Game 1- A punt return for touchdown and two safeties? Heck yes! Game 2 - Essentially walk off touchdown by Ameer but Cooper pick seals it. Game 3 - Destroy Washington in their house. Tmart figure wags. Game 4 - Nebraska tries to throw the game away all day before hunkering in for a win. Game 5 - Fumble on 4th & 1 seals the game. Game 6 - Aaron Williams stops any miracles from Indiana with a pick to seal the game. Game 7 - Minnesota puts together a good close to the first half and beginning of the second half, but fall short of a comeback. Game 8 - Kurt Cousins hits a brick wall. Rex churns out the victory. Game 9 - A fourth down conversion and another Abdullah winning score on the final drive of the game. Game 10 - Illegal catch for the win? We think not! Game 11 - K-State gets destroyed. What more do you want? Game 12 - Kick and pick. Duh! Game 13 - For some reason the national title doesn't even get the first plays on television, but Nebraska is winning the entire time the broadcast is on air. 2 Quote Link to comment
