That seems unlikely. Appearing via Zoom from Minneapolis. Which makes more sense. Quote Link to comment
Huskers93-97
More examples of why we have a chance. hahaha. good humor if anything. Dumb Criminal Lawsuits Thief rewarded for injury A young man of 19 located in Los Angeles, CA was awarded $74,000 (plus medical expenses!) when his neighbor accidentally ran over his hand with his car. The young man was unaware that there was someone behind the wheel of the car…while he was trying to steal the hubcap’s off his neighbor's car! Family Lawsuits Woman Sues Store for Fall A woman in Austin, TX was awarded $80,000 after she broke her ankle tripping over a toddler who was running inside a furniture store she was shopping in. The store owners were very surprised by the verdict because the toddler running in the store was the woman’s son. 2 Quote Link to comment
WyoHusker56
I have no law knowledge beyond my Business Law class in college, but couldn't the court order the B1G to release records around the postponement without the injunction? Or is the injunction the only option here besides dismissal? Quote Link to comment

Once upon a time someone went to a restaurant- they ordered a hot coffee. They spilled the hot coffee on themselves. They brought a lawsuit against the restaurant for giving them coffee that was too hot. The restaurant was penalized 2.86 million for selling hot coffee. That case is often brought up as a laughable example of dumb lawsuits, but it was a legitimate (and interesting) case. Educate yourself: https://www.caoc.org/?pg=facts 6 Quote Link to comment

Agreed, might open the door to a lot of hidden conversations that the Big Ten has had in the past but intended to stay private. Could also be as simple as they don't want to have their authority questioned at any point. 2 Quote Link to comment

runningblind
The thing these presidents/chancellors/council/commissioner don't seem to get is a lot of this scrutiny never happens if they just would have been transparent from the start. Here's our reasoning, here are the studies, here's the vote. Any questions? Ok, looking forward to the future. They've brought this all on themselves. 5 1 Quote Link to comment

A lot of these folk are giving off an arrogance that they are above being questioned. Unfortunately for them, a lot of their donors support their university based on how the school represents themselves. This whole deal has looked ugly for quite a few of the schools in the conference and their top brass. Quote Link to comment
