The Big Ten Network is planning on making a stop in Lincoln this spring.

Nebraska athletic director Bill Moos told the Journal Star on Wednesday morning that plans call for the network to carry the Red-White Spring Game live.

"That’s what I understand, yes," he said.

An NU school official said the network's plans had not been fully finalized and the conference has not yet announced its coverage plan.

The early start time, 11 a.m. instead of the usual early afternoon, is, "primarily to accommodate Big Ten Network," Moos said. It also follows the coaching staff's preference toward earlier practices.
