    When Pete Carroll came to the Seahawks, I think it was Hasselbeck that told a story about how in the early stages when they would do full team meetings he noticed that all the guys would sit in the same spot, every day. So, he ended up having everyone stand up and then told them to move somewhere else and sit someplace new. There was one well enough paid veteran guy, one of their super bowl guys from '06, that refused to play along. Within days he was traded. Seahawks also made the most moves of any team in a 2-3 year stretch. It's a lot harder to turn a roster over in college, but I hope Riley can get the team on the same page, and a positive vibe at that.

    So it's still OK to use the CalState - Sacramento loss against him? Have at it. I'm not pointing that out to defend Riley. Lumping those two teams together as equals is a weak point and more of an emotional argument than a logical one.

    Can people stop using EWUs win over OSU as some catastrophic loss? EWU has an offense that averages almost 50 points per game against D1 teams the past 3 years. They also had a QB who was a Walter Payton runner up who is lighting it up against D1 teams as he transferred up, to go with the best freshman of the year - a guy that will leave FCS with nearly every WR record there is. No one blames KSU for losing to NDSU, and people regard Snyder as some genius.

    Riley announced they got a commitment today but obviously can't go into detail. Any ideas from the fellas with their ear to the recruiting trail?

    Mike Leach is a spread offense with no defense. Wouldn't want any part of that at Nebraska. He isn't a bad coach, but a conference winning or title winning coach is something I don't ever see him being. If you're OK with settling for 3 losing seasons before things pick up and he still doesn't win anything, then he's your dude.

    I felt that way at a party back in high school when this girl I had a huge crush on since my freshman year came back from college and we started hitting it off. Except she then got too drunk and went mental drunk. My buddy that dated her sister tried to calm her down and told me to be patient, I waited 30 minutes but no change on mental status and my window for hooking up closed. I fear similar scenarios playing out

    Glad we don't review that 3rd and 6 QB draw that gave them the first down. He was half a yard short. Instead they shove it down our throats for a TD.

    This team seems to have given up on itself and there would probably be a mutiny if players start to get benched. Enough of the certain players are sticking together in clique and the sad thing is that they don't even understand what they're doing they're so tunneled vision.

    The second long run was also enabled by a blatant holding no call, not saying Dzuris would've gotten to Thorson but he would have altered the run. Plus, I miss Chris Webber, that kid has a nose for the ball and is athletic to make plays.

    Jerseys were sh#t and an eye sore. Red print on black with stripes through the numbers is sh#t on TV. They might have looked cool in person or for fashion nuts, but in my opinion, I'll be hard pressed to support an alternate uni ever. A throwback I could go for, but that sh#t is obnoxious.

      A real coach puts in whoever has the ability to perform at a higher level regardless of seniority or any such variables. Simply put, Tommy isn't getting it done and if POB can, he should play.

      Youre guessing savage? Just guessing? Of course there is. Riley told you so yesterday and many times before. This team is a divided headcase. There will be lots of player turnover this offseason.

      Easy Count. I know some of the rumors being thrown out but all I know them for are just rumors. I suspect there's more truth to some of them but I'm not going to form a judgment on what don't know for fact or not.

    Tommy is starting, that's not going to change and nor should it. He struggled at times but not enough to be pulled for Fyfe or any other QB, plus he has been let down by teammates as much as his teammates have let him down.
