      As much as it pains me to say it,  Huskers need to lose on Sunday. ISU needs to keep winning this weekend so Prohm is still involved with the team.

    Would Miles currently be the coach if not for that 10 game stretch in his second year? I wonder if that has helped or hurt him.

    Can someone explain why Iowa doesn't play Ohio State another time in a double elimination game? We had to play Indiana twice in the championship game back in 2013.

      Back in 2013, it was still a 6-team tournament. When they changed it to 8 teams a year ago, they went to full top/bottom bracket style. Since the top 2 teams already had to play a quarterfinal game in this format, they decided to do away with the double elimination in the championship.

    For the Omaha contingent, if you were to describe to someone who has never been to Omaha the areas to avoid, how would you say it?

      If this is in reference to finding an apt/house, my friend told me when I moved here - "Just stay above 40th Street" that was simple, yet great advice.

    I will say this, Riley is totally nailing the recruiting trail. I never heard this much buzz with recruiting with Bo. Looking forward to seeing what his kids can do.

      I think the constant updates have something to do with the excitement. Most of the commits are from the Pelini staff, they just seem new because we are re-confirming them.

      I wouldn't mind if Kaz stayed as well. He seems to be a good recruiter. Locks up the Davis Twins, better shot with Neal staying.

    i think charlie strong is a good coach and could do good things at a lot of places, but i do not think he will be successful at texas. just my imo of the day.

      I think most realize Stanford was a good fit for him, and not a great fit in our defensive scheme. Now if the same thing happens with Newell, be ready for "shock and awe".
