  1. Obviously there are people who work out here. Any of you use pre-workouts? If so what? Any other supplements? Me, I was taking The Curse from Cobra Labs. I loved it, but I like to try new things, so I am not taking C4 from Cellucor. My favorite so far. I was taking creatine, but I didn't notice it helping anything. I don't get soar, unless its leg day (which is almost every day anyway). What are your goals? How long do you spend there? Music, if any, you listen to? Where do you go? My goal is to just be healthier, and look good. I am 28, and felt out of shape. You wouldn't think so being 180 @ 6'. Always felt tired. As of right now, I spend almost 2hrs on a regular basis, and work out at Planet Fitness, here in Urbandale, Iowa. Music... anything that is upbeat, but find myself listening to Five Finger Deathpunch, Godsmack, Everclear, stuff like that lol.
  2. Pass... I don't want the kid. I would rather deal with Armstrong.
  3. That was quick! Glad he found another home, and if this was a work ethic thing, this cut opened his eyes!!!
  4. Good luck to him! Sad, he was projected to be a top 3 Safety last year too.
  5. #RiledUp Good get Coach Bray!

The dude has speed and can tackle in the open. With more coaching, this kid has the ability to be extremely good.

Banker was the lead recruiter on him.

  6. You go from a projected top 5 pick, to possibly not even being picked in the first round. Talk about throwing away millions of dollars.

Rough crowd. Kid has made some mistakes. His best decision was to go. 1 more strike at Nebraska and he was going to be booted from the team. Hope all this is motivation for him to maximize his talent and wreck shop in the league.

I think another year could have put him in top 5 but if he is drafted today it wont matter.

I don't think it has to do with talent or skill.

  7. I don't think anyone is underestimating the talent here, its more that we know that tOSU is far more talented than we are. I'd rank us at #3 behind tOSU (way ahead of everyone), and Wisconsin. Just to let you know, I won $200 for predicting it being Oregon/tOSU, and another $300 for calling tOSU the winner lol. Not a betting guy, but I didn't see anyone stopping Cardale Jones. That kid is just raw!
  8. Lol I had no idea we were even talking about Gangwish on this, I saw him mentioned one time. I am not sure how anyone on this board can say who does or doesn't deserve to be on the field. He made a few big plays last year and I see no reason why he can't do the same this year, plus more with VV and Collins creating opportunities for the LBers/DE's. Kid fought his way from being a walkon to a scholly player, he deserves to play and start if that is what the staff thinks.
  9. Congrats to the Women's softball team for a good win, and doing something our Men's team can't do!

  10. I agree about seeing kids happier, and they seem to know what they are doing out there, and not looking lost. Predicting W/L is way to premature, and could be even through the non conference schedule. BYU and Miami will be our biggest test, especially away.
  11. I didn't know stating the obvious was considered a hate fest. Has TA shown to be a conference winning QB yet? Flashes sure, but every other QB to win their conference are lightyears of what TA has been. I am rooting for him to prove myself, including others wrong, but I am tired of drinking that Kool-aid and getting my nuts stepped on. I mean, its only been 16 years since our last Conference Championship. I am sorry, but didn't the title say "Five things standing in the way of a Nebraska Conference Title"? Wouldn't tOSU be one of those things in winning one? Of course you have to get there first, but its Conference Title, not division title.
  12. I don't see our QB play improving, at all. Especially with these guys going to be more of a pocket passer. I see the INT's going up and sacks going down due to less QB runs with a much improved OL. I don't think TA's accuracy will be much better than what we have seen these past two years, and I don't believe his decision making will get much better either. I would love to see someone else on the field, but sadly enough, I don't feel anymore comfortable with any of the other guys, with MAYBE the exception of Darlington. I do see our mental mistakes going down, and improving. This team already looks more disciplined, and its not an "us against the world" or as some (including myself) a "cult" mentality. Kicking should be improved. Rushing defense has to improve right? I mean with more experienced Valentine and Collins, with a much more simplistic defense (responsibility wise) as a whole, it has to, especially on paper. I believe we have a much better LB coach, who can/will teach these LB'ers to hit the right gaps, and be those guys to distrupt the offense's timing. Ohio State, the biggest stump in our way to winning one, period. This team isn't althletically better, and I don't believe we are better coached, or have better coaches. If we were to make it, we would have to win off of shear WANT. Grind it out, make less mistakes and just never give up. We have talent, but can we play better as a unit than tOSU?

  14. This LSU/TAMU game is a damn good one!!!!

  15. He is such a waste of talent. This guys future was more than promising. Some people just don't realize how great they could have it, if they stayed on the right road.
  16. If Riley and his staff turns some of these kids into stars (and it could happen with guys like Collins, Valentine and M Rose) next year, you think we would view this roster as being more talented than the one Bo took over? I personally think there is a misconception of the roster Bo took over. I didn't think it was filled with talent, or stars, until we got to see what they were like under Bo.
  17. I am not sure why each coach on this staff excites me more than the previous, maybe because they are new? Lol
  18. In my opinion, Riley hands down. Sure Bo left on some slippery slopes, but he had a lot of supporters, until his audio tape leaked with the team. He had a winning (and completely padded record). I think Riley takes over with a lot more talent, and has a lot more money/resources being given to recruit. We didn't really start forking out the money and everything we could until Bo's 4th year, if I remember correctly. The program isn't is shambles, like it was when Bo took over as well. Now, the pressure is a lot higher for Riley. He's taking over a team who hasn't lost less than "9 games" a season. His expectations are the same, if not higher, as it was for Bo. So, pressure wise, Riley has it worse, but as far as taking over on a good foundation, Riley has it better.
  19. Can't wait for this Championship! GO WISKY!

  20. Did you know Nebraska blew a 5-0 lead today?

  21. Definitely over on both of these lol. O/U: Number of interceptions Armstrong throws: 9.5
  22. Ok, this is OBVIOUSLY premature, but as of right now, who is your favorite assistant coach under Riley? I will start. Mine is Trent Bray. There is something about this guy that really gets me excited for the future of this program. He has the potential to be a great HC one day, and maybe be the guy to take over when Riley retires. I don't think he goes anywhere else (Riley that is), even if it doesn't work out here. I was a huge supporter of keeping the DBag we had before, and got emotionally involved in some arguments in the past (I also apologize for those debates, those of you were right LOL). After his cult ran program, I realize this is the staff we need. One who is involved with the fans, and is respectable on all phases of the game. If a thread has been made pertaining to this in the past, my apologies, I have been MIA for quite some time! Can't wait to get my football fix, and possibly meet some HB members next weekend! GBR!
