I like this upcoming recruiting class more than anyone and think they may be one reason Riley stays, but if Frost is your guy, you have to give him the keys to the entire thing. The Williamses are some of the best position coaches in the country and maybe Frost is familiar with Donte from the PAC12, but gotta be prepared to lose these guys if MR is gone.
With how bad the Huskers are this year, they could play Alabama on the moon next season and it has the chance to be better than the disaster unfolding right now.
Why does everyone think next year's schedule is any more difficult than this year's? Oregon at Oregon is a tougher game than Colorado at home, no? And Penn State is better than Michigan. No cake schedule, but this season is rough, too.
We don't have the firepower, discipline, culture, or game plan to hang with Wisconsin. Everything they do every offseason, practice, and on the recruiting trail should be geared toward beating Wisconsin. That was a great point made on BRO yesterday.
Has this really been the best we've looked all year or is it the first time this year we've not looked like the Little Giants for 50 percent of the game?
It's OK to admit they are looking better and better. Next week is the biggest test so far this year and the Blackshirts have not been this ready to show up all season. Look on the bright side
Is Frost guaranteed a big time coaching job after this season?
The more you think about it, the more that looks likely. The AAC was raided last year for their top coaching prospects. Frost is probably the top young (head) coach left in the conference along with Norvell. This may force the Huskers hand in getting Frost now. Someone will this offseason.
