Would Bohl even want to come back here to coach? Me thinks not... I said the same in another thread. He was the scapegoat for the Colorado loss. Never say never, but it's a lot like Frost where everyone just assumes he'd hop right back here the first chance he gets. I don't think that's the case.

I should probably be bothered by this in some way but I'm not.

I think I asked this in another forum, sorry if I missed the response but has NU EVER "opened up the checkbook" for anyone? Not just football,....any coach. And even if we do, what makes you think one of the few elite coaches would come here even with the promise of a dump truck of cash? We are an afterthought to the rest of the country.

Bama has to lose 2 games to even be considered to be left out. As close as PSU was this year. I'm not so sure it isn't 3 losses. I wondered about that before the SEC championship. "Does this game even matter?" Edit: I didn't realize they were undefeated, just looked it up, it mattered even less than I thought.

Interesting thought, i hadn't thought about it like that before. I agree about the o-line but the difference for me is depth in general. Might explain some of our ST issues this year too.

Ha ha! That's recruiting speak, for the benefit of the guys he's recruiting right now for UCF, because he knows he won't get offered the job at $8 million. If they offered him $8 million he would take the job. Yeah, we've all heard coaches say something like this in the morning and then accept another job that afternoon. Still, I was impressed with what he had to say.

I asked him about that and he smiled. It didn't seem to bother him. Then I talked about how all of that changed when they beat UW the next season. I always found it sort of a coincidence that I remember him getting boo'd at the UCF game and he ends up coaching there. I'm not surprised he laughed it off, it did bother ME though.

My take, I was under the impression Frost wanted play calling duties and Bo didn't want to give it to him. Also I recall him being boo'd by Nebraska fans fresh off of Fraziers graduation as we "struggled" and eventually lost to ASU. I doubt being boo'd plays into his decision I just always was disappointed by my fellow fans did that. Same deal with Bohl, everyone seems to think he'd come back in a heartbeat but he was run out of town as the scapegoat for the Colorado loss before our last National Championship game appearance.

Is that just for rumors regarding Nebraska football? I have to click through "Nebraska Football" to get to it.... So if say I had a rumor about say..... Men's Baseball for example would that also go in the baseball forum or the rumor forum? What about a rumor about another coach at another school, again I have to click through Nebraska football to get to "Rumors" so I would guess not.....where would proper place for those be "Other Sports" and heavily notate that content is a rumor?
