      It had the makings of the classic 70's & 80's NU/OU games. Osborne was 5-12 against Switzer, but 8 of those losses OU came from behind in the 2nd half to win. Last night was no different. We had the lead going into the 2nd half and lost it.

    Digging a hole for the Goalsetter basketball hoop I bought for the boys really sucks in clay soil. Halfway there, 2 more feet to dig! Blah...

      Pretty sure I started using a garden spade to chip away at the clay the last 6 to 10 inches. An augur would be a much better choice.

    Does anyone home brew their beer? Have alot of questions that I would like to ask. Thinking of starting to do this.

      I don't know whether to get something as simple as Mr. Beer or go for a 2-stage kit? I just wonder if I should see if I enjoy it first with the cheap Mr. Beer kit and go from there?

      would you bake cookies with an easybake? no mr beer. do it right. and like b-rent said, have a bar in mind the night of your first batch. i ended up at an applees.

      It is addicting. Get a starter kit from a homebrewing company. Hardest part is keeping things super clean, the smell of the Wort (so my wife says), finding regular dark brown bottles ( no easy off tops ). Noticed that there is a listing for a homebrew company in Des Moines, 'Heartland Homebrew Supply'. Might give them a visit. Good luck. Nothing better than a beer you gave birth to...
