    He's been here less than a year and he wasn't at a big enough program before to have established relationships with our quality of players. Pass this year, no excuses here on out.Agree Warrior 100%. You get a year to dip your toe in, but then you have to get it done after that. He needs to get some quality guys in this year, but if hes smart he should be working 2018 guys hard. Plenty of time to build a relationship with them.

    Ive thought this would be great for awhile now. Interest in non playoff bowls would skyrocket i think. I wonder how many games would get lines in Vegas? Betting would be damn near impossible with all the unknowns.

    Of course theres still some racism around. How long were blacks/nonwhites considered just slaves? Hundreds of years? How long have we finally decided to try and make change? 150 years. Its gonna take time to get rid of it just like any change. It sucks but its just gonna take time. Its not happening as quick as any of us would like, especially now in a world where everything is almost instant, patience is lost. Good thing is that now kids are so ingrained and "addicted" to electronics and social media that they dont have time for racism so things may start to change sooner. Of course im half kidding, but also half not. Change can spread quicker nowadays with internet/social media. So it should soon move from racism to social mediaism.

      We'll have a better D-line next year than this. And even if we did get a couple of superstar DEs it's not like they'd come in an save the day as true freshman. Can anyone even remember a starting true frosh DE for NU? I can't.

      We used to not need starting true frosh DEs b/c we had stud upperclassmen. But if we got a stud DE in as a frosh he could very well start by the middle of the season.

    Mother of God... January 7th can't come soon enough. Good day or bad, maybe we can all finally bury some long overdue hatchets. lol The original tweeter (Eric) corrected himself afterwards saying he is sure Nebraska is in consideration, just not widely regarded as a favorite. New conspiracy theory: Darnay had completely written us off. Then his state title game happens. One of the top players in the country, catching passes in OT from the best QB in California. He drops the go-ahead TD to end him and all of his buddies high school careers. He can't live with himself never redeeming himself by catching a ball from Gebbia again. He's a silent commit, BOOK IT. Hey man, quit hoggin all the good stuff. Gotta share man. Puff, puff, pass.

      I was thinking we had more than 2 but was too lazy to look it up. Why do they just have the 2 banners hanging together in the Bob instead of all of them? They show the 2 hanging up on tv a lot. Are the other 2 hanging at another spot? Never been to the Bob since they moved there.

      They are hanging on both sides of the video screen. Typically they only show the most recent, but all 4 are hanging up.

    I would think we'd most likely go with all white alt unis. Would look pretty cool with their grey ones. Plus the last time we actually played reasonably well this year was when we wore them.
