      This all happened back in mid January. The prosecutor's office hasn't even decided whether to file charges on some of them. So there's that.

      I read a good breakdown on reddit on this. The short version is that even the prosecutor doesn't want to release the records (aka, the player names) yet, but ESPN gonna ESPN.

      I don't think there's a bad guy in this situation. ESPN has to report on it and the FOIA request is part of that. MSU has legal rights to protect player identity, too. It's a good case for the courts to decide.
