    National Guard setting up at hospitals in CB.

      Makes sense--they've taken over the Convention Center in Downtown Dallas and started wiring the main floor for electricity to support makeshift beds and ventilators. 

       

      The next month and change is gonna be rough (Dallas has a Shelter at home through May 20, and there's been talk they'll extend through all of May).

    What happens when a player on a NCAA tournament team tests positive for Covid, and that team and their opponents need to be quarantined? Say a team makes the Sweet 16 and needs to be quarantined?

    So it's been talked about, there is essentially a one-second rule for the snapper on field goal attempts. One second has to elapse before contact can be made. Obviously it was violated Saturday but that game had other officiating issues on both sides.

    Sometime youth sports suck.  And its soul crushing to see your kid in tears about it.

      Youth sports, especially now that it's heavily going towards pay-to-play club/academy sports and rec is on its way out, have been rough on kids for quite some time, and it's getting worse by the day. 

       

      I coach rec, and it's crazy how clubs are trying to poach kids from rec and get parents to pay $2.5-5k/year for six and seven year old soccer.
