    Today is the 25th anniversary of the October snow storm that downed trees across Lincoln. We lived near 40th and D at the time. We were one of the final neighborhoods to have power restored, 11 days after the storm.

      I was in Harper Hall.  I remember NU played at Kansas the night it started snowing.  IIRC, we held Kansas to something like 50 total yards.

       

      School was cancelled for 2 or 3 days following it.

      I was transferring commands from South Carolina to Hawaii and just happened to be staying in Lincoln a couple days to see my friends there and got stuck in a hotel room for an extra 2 days. Ended up being a several days long party.

      @teachercd those things probably describe 85% of your nights so I'm not sure that narrows it down too far.

       

      @Red Five So .... I think I was in Harper too.  But apparently I don't really remember, though I am getting old.
