  1. I read yours, I didn't quote because I was not specifically referencing your OP. It was more directed at the responses.
  2. I cannot agree with this take, I don't care what reasons you give. TO did it right. You go for the win, every single time.
  3. @UniversalMartin I'm not trying to pick an argument, but I think maybe they are much better than that. I really like how Daniels has been playing. He's not just taking up blocks but making big plays in the run game and collapsing the pocket nearly by himself. Ty Robinson has been great this season and made plays, Ben Stille has looked very good and was dominant Saturday, and Casey Rogers is really progressing nicely. I think the DL has improved substantially.
  4. I'd take Wisconsin and Northwestern over every team in that conference.
  5. The B1G West is more difficult than the entire Pac-12.
  6. Was hurt in previous game. Was game time decision. Schiano said he’d get starting job back when he is healthy after their win.
  7. So much this. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHY WANDALE ROBINSON DOES NOT RETURN PUNTS?
  8. Enough of this s#!t. If this is the best you have to offer, go crawl back under your bridge.
  9. If we should win, let it be by the code
  10. Lol. Ok... https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.hawkcentral.com/amp/5516202002
  11. No, it isn't. If drawing parallels to other games is useless, giving up 500 yards is meaningless because we can't draw a parallel to what has been given up in other games. That's why its nonsensical. Because it doesn't make any sense.
  12. Everyone asking for us to run the I formation, please show me a team that wins that runs predominantly I formation. Even Wisconsin takes more than 30% of their snaps from the shotgun, 22% from single back, and no back. Plus, those numbers are last year. With Mertz shotgun snaps will go up. The NFL takes 63% of all snaps from the shotgun. Defenses are too good and too fast to line up in the I formation with TEs. You bring 10 guys in the box. We are never going back to the I formation, you won't win doing it. The biggest reason Frost's offense doesn't look familiar is that we don't have a running back. in 2018 at the end of the year, Devine Ozigbo made us look like the old Oregon offense. Remember when NU put up 500 yards like 7 times that year? Many of us have selective memory I guess. It was because we could run the football. NU rushing under Frost: 2018: 209 ypg (Final 6 games 225 ypg with 2 300 yard rushing games) 2019: 203 ypg 2020: 193 ypg We have to be better running the ball out of our current scheme, look at Oregon under Chip Kelly: 2007 (Kelly's first year as OC): 251 ypg rushing 2008: 280 ypg 2009: 231 ypg 2010: 287 ypg 2011: 299 ypg 2012: 315 ypg
  13. He is actually faster now. He loves track, mom holds every Burke record and ran at Illinois where his Dad played football. Losing last season in both track and football has motivated him to be great. If spring sports happen, Devon will dominate the State Track Meet.
  14. Could see anything from 2-5 to 5-2... I'm going with 4-3 with a loss to Iowa, which makes me sick to my stomach but would be a winning season. Then split the 9th (8th) game and the bowl to go 5-4 Hoping for a 5-2 and then play Indiana, get a win there and then a bowl game to go 7-2. And that is why hope is a dangerous thing, Red.
  15. If he struggles blocking because he lacks strength, then just run him deep to take the corner or safety with him. Same result. HS coaching trick right teach? lol (I realize the B1G is not HS and it probably wouldn't work as well)
  16. The play that would have been 6, and I'm unsure if this is what you guys are referencing, was the high snap that Luke fielded high and away. That was an RPO that was set up perfect with one defender to the right to try to defend Luke on the run and the pass. If the snap is good, we score easily. Instead Luke made the smart play and handed off as the timing was gone.
  17. I mean did people expect Trevor Lawrence? If you’ve been paying attention you knew LMC’s weaknesses before the game today. He worked through them, his only turnover he had about a half a second to throw, and he got a win. Come on, chill out people. We’ve sucked for 3 years. Any win is a good win and let’s see if you e can build an offense around the youth in this weird season.
