Jamal said earlier in camp that the reason he wasn't returning punts last year was because he wasn't able to consistently catch the punts. Hopefully he has gotten it down to be the #1 punt returner this year. I love the idea of him in space. I thought I remeber him getting a chance when we dropped like 3 in a game and dropped it. I might be wrong but I could have sworn he was one of them before we just started running away from the damn ball. If you're talking Northwestern I think only Marlowe and Bell dropped them. Might have been. I could have sworn that I remember him missing one.

Hmm ESPN called Newell a Husker commit. Any truth to this? "Nebraska picked up two recruits from Missouri on the Fourth of July, including one named Freedom. Huskers commit Peyton Newell plays in memory of his mother."

I saw him play against my old high school last season. I couldn't really tell due to everyone really playing well against them last season so who knows. I'll see if I can make a Gorman game or 2 this season and let you know what I think.

Use to read HO's free board when I got board. If RSS is anything like that I'd imagine its a bunch of f#*k heads taking cheap shots at the program and bad mouthing anything they can. Now that is terrible. At least the kid seems to have a good head on his shoulders and made a tactful reply regarding the comments. Certain people who made those comments that Harrison is referring to should have a boot shoved up their hind quarters.

I think I like this medium to get VV motivated. He apparently can't listen to teammates personally, so air this over the internet where VV apparently likes to go and maybe it will get through to him. The one thing I wonder about with all of this is will JM come out on twitter and make encouraging posts if/when VV decides to pull his head from his hind quarters? This is what would make a great leader in my opinion. Push VV to be his best then if/when he does do this, come JM come back and make an encouraging post. I guess, to put it simply, Will this be the bad only or will there be what he does well or improvement be blasted over the internet as well. Whatever they can do to motivate these players is good in my book.

From what i am seeing being reported by people who say they are in the know, Webb went after Lewis because of his comments about tranferring to Nebraska. Webb definitely isn't a very bright man.

Kanpple these same people chose MSU to possibly win it last year as well and we see where they ended up. Just have to take it all with a grain of salt as these people are giving their opinion (read guessing) to create an article.
