Cards blew series last night. Outplayed tonight. Fully expect them to get thrashed in Game 6. Mozeliak, go out and spend some money on a shortstop and a centerfielder next year, PLEASE.

This is the end. My only friend, the end. Of our elaborate plans, the end. Of everything that stands, the end.

Watching UCLA get smothered all day is kind of a drag. I hate it when teams that beat us look like crap.

Two byes in four weeks really sucks.

Hey Cardinals.... are you going to actually score some runs, or what?

It appears that, apart from OSU, the B1G is still pretty wide open.

Wacha Wacha Wacha!

Silver lining.... hopefully I'll never see Pete Kozma in a Cardinal uniform after tomorrow.

Large tornado heading towards Wayne and Wakefield. Take shelter if you are near there.

Matheny is a dead set moron for starting Lance Lynn today. Sometimes I think the Cardinals win in spite of him.

I didn't see it, but I heard Iowa State got some classic Longhorn officiating tonight. Still happy in the Big 12, ISU?

The fumble was a bad call. I get that. But so was the flea-kicker, i.e. Miracle In Missouri. And we don't have a problem with that. It's all perspective. If you are on the wrong end of one of those calls... well you're gonna be ticked and maybe with good reason, but it won't change the ruling or no call or whatever.

If this was Australia, they'd call a double dissolution and every single house and senate seat would be recalled immediately. Imagine the entire legislature standing for re-election at the same time and having only 3-4 weeks to campaign. Of course, they passed single-payer 40 years ago, so none of this would be relevant anyway.

Yikes. Brutal, brutal loss, Pack. Not impressed.

I think the one thing Nebraska needs to do to be successful, more than anything else, is simply play more aggressively. Go balls out attack, on both sides of the ball. I saw that happening today a lot, with good results. Maybe that's the change in attitude the coaches are talking about?
