Heupel has some talent himself and looks like he's going to potentially be a Scott Frost in the future as well.  I like what he's done as a coach and this should help him in the future if he can continue to work on what Frost did there.

I know who Heupel is and what he has accomplished.  My point was that most of the UCF fan base probably had to do a google search to figure out who they just hired since most of them were convinced Sumlin was their new coach.  @Pedro Guerrero - I don't see a comparison of the two coaches ability anywhere in my statement.

In all fairness Judoka the UCF fan base probably had to google Scott Frost when he was first announced as HC as well.  I thought there was a chance for Sumlin to take the job as it's a tailor made situation to succeed and he's already familiar with the AAC from when he was at Houston.  Plus, and let's be honest, he did quite well for himself when he was at A&M.  At the same time, I can't help but think the A&M job was an absolute grind and a little time off plus you know the SEC Network will scoop him up might be a welcome change for him.
