Wow.  I'm disheartened by the number of you who don't feel that 18-22 year old boys can't/won't respect a woman.  Or that a woman can't recruit successfully.

I think the prevailing sentiment is that, at this point in time, it is easier for women in the NBA than in college ball, not that it can't be done. I think the proof for that is more than obvious. Personally, I'd like to see her go to CSU and begin working on that barrier but I'm not convinced she wouldn't be better off staying in the pros.

I think many of us have been saying that Hammon is VERY qualified for the men's CSU job.  At the same time, I think she would be more successful as an NBA coach.  I think recruiting would be her biggest challenge, but that's the biggest challenge for a lot of coaches.  It was a challenge for Doc Sadler and Barry Collier at NU.  The biggest thing going for Hammon at CSU is that she would have the whole university and community supporting her.
