@Enhance - flashbacks to a professor who said that if we got a better grade on the final (a national standardized final in organic chemistry) than we did for the class, that would be the grade.  LIAR.  I got an A on the final, and yet - my grade wasn't an A, and i called him out on it.  I hope he learned not to make that promise again.  I didn't do as well during the regular class tests because the guy hand drew molecules/structures and also jammed like 50 on one page and my brain likes a little more order to what it's looking at.  Still tweaked about that.

Today is my last day this year of teaching HS.  Half day with students, half day grades and check out, half day getting drunk

And can anybody here teach chemistry?  The other chemistry teach gave her letter of resignation the day after spring break and as of yesterday they have had NO applicants. NONE. I could be teaching lecture style to 60-70 students in the auditorium.
