    Illini fans are pretty sure that Lovie is gone after this season and there is some talk that Jeff Monken (Army) could be a contender for the job based on his resume and from being from the state...that would be interesting.

      Ha ha!  The thing is, I was a HUGE fan of Lovie when he was first hired.  I thought he was the guy who would finally turn things around.  But no.  The Illini's prospects are as dim as ever.  (btw, I live in Illinois.)
