    If this season the farthest off from your prediction ever?  I feel like there was a Solich season where my prediction radar was super far off too, I just can't remember which one.

      There were quite a few people here saying we would go 6-6 this year. But then we all kinda bought into the preseason hype...

      It's pretty far off, at least. I'll say this, though: the defense actually looks basically the way I thought they would. A modest improvement over last year, but still way too inconsistent. A lot of people are acting like the the defense has regressed, but it really hasn't, it's improved a bit overall. I think people are forgetting just how awful the defense was a couple years ago.

       

      The real story is how far the offense has regressed. They were expected to carry the team, but they went from being way ahead of the defense to being a bit worse than the D.
