  1. Owens, sadly, will probably end up at Maryland...and they are young and loaded next year.
  2. Mack to L'Ville...

Even though Pitino and Co have tarnished the L'ville brand a bit, it is still the better job.  Tripling your salary for a better job is a no brainer.  I'll bet a lot of basketball fans don't know Xavier is in Cincinnati.

Eh, Xavier is in an easier conference, and he proved that you can win big at a school that size.

The bump in pay is nice, though. Plus, happy wife = happy life.

Mack has $28 million to leave Xavier.  If he does well at all in his first 3 years, that gets extended another few years and makes more bank.

  3. Wow, you want Finke? He is not a bad player the problem is he can't play big, which sort of sucks but he can be a good stretch 4. Tariq Owens is the one that a lot of schools will want.
  4. Can we start the "His parents are rich so maybe he will walk on and save the Skers a scholarship" posts?
  5. Moos and Miles...I am starting to think they both post on this site. One spouts off about stuff and the other pretends he didn't know about it.
  6. I don't remember that. I was on the co-ed but our restrooms were not shared.
  7. Altman has a bonkers amazing class coming in at Oregon BUT maybe he is sick of Knight, maybe he just wants to come home?
  8. I guess the question is...did the ball ever hit anything at all? Actually, I am friends with that ref...needless to say I felt bad for him having to make that call. Clearly it is the right call, we just never see it hit anything.
  9. we only see the ball go behind a guy on the sidelines then we see the ball come back up...we technically never see it hit "the ground" because of the dude in the all tan outfit. Now, clearly we "know" that it hit the ground but we don't actually see it happen.
  10. Getting a lot of reps in is really hard, like really really hard. Good for the staff for making it a priority. I know one staff that does their conditioning at the start of practice, I thought that was brilliant. Most everyone waits until the end.
  11. Maybe just a money move? Not sure either. But a lot of times these coaches get out while the getting out is good. I mean he probably got a longer deal and more cash...might as well take that lotto ticket when you can.
  12. Interesting...here are my lame thoughts... Martin is probably waiting for the Miami job Oats, no idea at all Musselman would be a great hire but I don't see why he would leave UNR now Jank is interesting and has midwest ties
  13. I thought AC did a good job with the interview. I thought she did a good job telling what happened. I believed everything she said.
  14. I think they looked fine. They did a good job and had a nice season. If the Big Ten had been tougher they probably end up with only 19 wins but they probably also end up in the dance.
  15. Shoot, just imagine how many violations the city has missed! Picture it...Spring Game 2016 me and my friends head to Barry's the doorman is a former student of mine possibly 20 years old or so. Popular kid with lots of friends...up on the rooftop I see more former students, all under 21...all drinking. With that said, every tailgate has more than a few underage drinkers!
  16. Yeah, that is one of the articles I read! The other one was about how Barry's got in trouble for serving (over-serving) fans on game day...they said they get over 5,000 people in on game day! 5 dollars per person too.
  17. Smith got the "ok" from AD Whitman to pretty much blow up the program...and he has. He sacrificed years 1 and 2 for this and so far it looks like with this class it might be working. I don't see it working to the point of being some amazing team but I can see them ending up like they were under Zook.
  18. I wonder what the economic impact of the Frost hire is for NU and Lincoln? I know I read that Barry's gets around 5,000 people in their bar on a game day. I would imagine that the spring game will get them around that number this year and regular season games might get them more or because of how packed it gets other bars will get the spillover. I read that clothing sales were up, I think it said 22% at one shop.
  19. Someone else brought it up first I just added on. I just heard it again from a buddy that does actually get "some" info. But I still just don't think it is true.
  20. I liked the series. Little surprised that this didn't start in April (basically) as a count down to the spring game.
  21. I predict one more upset with the rest of the games playing out according to seeding.

Now I know why my bookies kids go to private school!

I only lost 12 dollars last night but still!

  22. I don't think it is true. I was just surprised that he brought it up to me.
  23. We always jam inside on 2 deep so that the Safeties have less ground to cover. 3 deep is essentially man to man if they are running verticals so we don't really care about a jam.
