Yeah the last episode was the first one in a long time that I really liked. I don't follow it as closely as some of you, like I literally don't know all the peoples names...but it seems like the Saviors are falling apart a bit. When the guy with the hair and the guy with the face were searching for the guy with the bat...it was pretty tense.

They did and I don't get it. Many coaches have turned themselves almost into martyrs (Sweet movie) when it comes to the amount of time they claim to put in. I can remember years ago my high school coach was telling us how when it was all said and done that he was basically paid like 75 cents an hour to coach us...because of all the hours he put in compared to his coaching stipend. I remember thinking how stupid that sounded. I have coached for a long time now and there are some "hidden" hours...But if you feel the need to be in your office during the offseason from 6am until 10pm..You are either doing it wrong or you don't want to be at home or your work environment is so fun that you want to be at "the office" I will say this, I have had some coaches that I worked with that made it so much fun that hanging out in the coaches offices well before and well after games was a blast. This is just my thought on the topic but I think over the last 20 years or so the shift has been this: I think since most coaches basically can't go out in public anymore (for dinner or drinks or screwing around) that they decided to hide at the office instead.

I have always thought that it would be bad ass to have a room in a gym with fridges, couches, stoves, crap like that...stuff that you actually move at times...and you can do your functional fitness in there.

Sharks are my big fear, I am pretty happy they have never made a movie about sharks attacking people.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I think we all know the coaches will swear at times...the players will swear at times...none of it will make a player better or worse. Just like the obligatory massive cookout at the OL coaches house this summer won't bring the OL "close than ever"...it will just make them full.

That kid is leaving... He basically can be "re-recruited" and end up at probably...any top 5-20 team he wants. He is leaving and good for him.

I don't think anyone will leave. Most guys don't transfer twice, so those guys are staying. Is Watson graduated? I mean...he could go...but he is already a power 5 starter.

Oh man, thanks for posting. There was a lot of talk that this was going to happen but Illini fans were hoping it wouldn't. He will make a nice living playing overseas.

It seems like a lot of times in the NIT there are a bunch of deflated teams. It happens. It sucks. I am not a Miles fan or NU basketball fan but if I was I think this season would have been a tough one for me. They clearly did way better than most thought they would which is great...but the fact that they are always predicted to be horrible is the problem.
